Tibetan, Nepalese, Indian and Afghan communities work with the Himalayan Fair Committee to offer this annual outdoor celebration of Himalayan cultures. Supporters include the North Shattuck Merchants' Assn., East Bay Express, KPFA Free Speech Radio, The City of Berkeley, Downtown Berkeley Association, and The Monthly

AFGHAN WOMEN'S COUNCIL, Peshewar, Pakistan (Perception Foundation) Work with Afghan refugees:  Mother and child Health Care Clinic, Ariana High School
AFGHAN WOMEN'S MISSION Supports and establishes health care, education, empowerment to Afghan refugees, primarily Afghan women and children.  Increases public awareness on human rights.
AMAR SINGH SECONDARY HIGH SCHOOL, Phokara, Nepal Sponsorship of music program for blind children
HELP THE AFGHAN CHILDREN Establishes and operates health care clinics, educational & vocational centers, home-based education programs, and humanitarian emergency aid in Afghanistan
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S SEWING GROUP, Bhaktapur, Nepal Sewing projects for poor schools and hospitals in Nepal
KHAM AID FOUNDATION Primary School scholarships for 12 children in Kham Province, Tibet.
Middle school scholarships for 2 girls in Kham Province, Tibet.
KANGCHENJUNGA SCHOOL PROJECT. Lelup, Nepal Construction of a girl's school hostel in Lelep, Nepal a poor hill region in Nepal.
KATHMANDU MEDICAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL Educational material for hospital children's playroom.
PAROPAKAR ORPHANAGE, Kathmandu, Nepal Orphanage repairs and clothes.
PARSA  - PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION SUPPORT FOR AFGHANISTAN Income generating projects to widows and orphans in Kabul, Afghanistan:  provides education, job training, establishment of wool-spinning cooperatives, counseling.
