All profits from the Fair go to grassroots projects in the Himalayan Region

Tibetan, Nepalese, Indian and Afghan communities work with the Himalayan Fair Committee to offer this annual outdoor celebration of Himalayan cultures. CONTRIBUTIONS FOR 2006 HIMALAYAN FAIR

KHAM AID FOUNDATION

  • Support for five students ($520 per student/year) $2600

VIRTUES CHILDREN NEPAL:

  • Paropakar Orphanage Bathroom Facilities $2300
  • Winter blankets/bedsheets for 75 children $1200
  • Continuation of Blind School Music Program $ 600

INTERNATIONAL WOMENíS SEWING GROUP:

  • Desks & benches for Secondary School $ 600
  • Computer for Secondary School/Baktapur $ 625
  • School uniforms for 100 students $575

CHILDRENíS MEDICAL AID PROJECT:

  • Surgery for village children in Nepal $1500
